About The Grower

Dona Nubia's farm, Sante Fe is located in Pijao, Quindio and has been in the family since the 1970's. She inherited the farm when her father passed away and fell in love with the process. The farm sits at an altitude of 1850 metres above sea level and is home to a variety of shade trees and fruit trees such as banana, guava and avocado. She is also Rain Forest Alliance Certified.

The Nubia's Santa Fe farm is committed to high quality coffee production with over half of the production dedicated to specialty coffee. Dona is passionate about producing quality coffee and continues to strive to produce exceptional and unique beans, whilst supporting her father's legacy.

This coffee is harvested following strict ripeness criteria, floated and hand-sorted to remove any defects. Cherries were then exposed to 30 hours of underwater fermentation before being pulped. The parchment was then gently washed and then dried in temperature controlled conditions until ideal moisture content was achieved.
